Hello everyone and Happy New Year!
Hope you’ve had a great day. I have . . . with family, friends, food, and in the background, some football.
Things are coming together nicely for our first Sunday service at the Thousand Oaks Inn. Day after tomorrow we will be loading in our equipment and preparing for a God-glorifying time in a new location . . . at least for the foreseeable future. As most of you who receive this email know, the theater we had been meeting in shut its doors last night. Please pray that God will use this transition to do something fresh and new in us as a people.
I have felt impressed that, in addition to receiving Communion this Sunday, we should have an anointing service to prepare us for what God has in store for 2016. With where our country and world are at, we need the Holy Spirit’s supernatural ministry of grace, mercy, and power to help us navigate forward. And our society needs all of us to be at full strength to push back the realms of darkness.
For those of you who live out of the immediate Conejo Valley area and/or attend another church, may you enjoy all that God has in store for you!
Let’s make 2016 a year of being in tune with God . . . in love with Jesus . . . and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
